Let's be clear about one thing first: TERFs are a eugenicist movement and shouldn't be taken as meaningfully distinct from Nazis. And very, very few trans women are TERFs. So right away you know the estimations are transmisogynistic bullshit unless you play semantic games

Do take this with a grain of salt because I'm speaking as a veteran who was involved in trans military activism for a regrettable year, but I've known so, so many white (and a few BIPOC) trans mascs who were the most hardcore cop-lovers I've *ever* gotten to know personally.

But the "white trans women are more likely to be Nazis than other white queer people" canard is a deliberate exploitation of an intracommunity discussion about trans women in channer/rationalist/gamer spaces (that people like Contra have discussed, for better or worse).

and compared *to AFAB queer people specifically*, it does appear that white trans women are often disproportionately represented in SOME spaces (Scott Alexander evidently used to deflect criticisms that his community was racist by pointing out he had a trans women readership)

And taken from the outside it becomes a really trite and not especially useful observation "Marginalized reactionaries are idiosyncratic and weird" Yes that's true, and as always their idiosyncracies are pretty inversely proportional to the threat they pose to most other people

You're statistically more likely to be victimized by people who think trans women have male privilege than you are by trans women who love edgelord atheism and deeply fear Roko's Basilisk You just are
