Anyway I think I'm starting to realize that the reason I generally get along better with younger cis Millennials, is because a lot of the older ones wound up with Boomer parents and never turned against them dramatically enough to actually fully discard all of their values

I am pretty unique among my friends for having a good relationship with my parents. Helps that my parents aren’t terrible people though. (ie, they listen when I tell them when they’re wrong about shit, and they have my whole life)
