Dude, I’m hard of hearing and when I did my GCSE’s at 16 they, for the first exam, gave me an extra half an hour on account of my hearing loss. Like they were afraid I’d mishear the paper.
-
extra 30 mins in case you didn't hear them telling you to start the paper or smth lmaoooo
-
It’d be hard to miss the 100 people around me starting to write. It was a confusing time.
-
Because not being able to hear, makes your eyesight super bad too. Lol.
-
I’m more like reverse Daredevil
-
Crying or laughing at inappropriate times are my only super power. I basically save my own life by making others feel awkward. Wow. Wonder why there’s no comic of me yet.

I’m a CODA and also worked as a Customer Service Agent for an airline. I would always put that the passenger was deaf....does not need assistance. My parents hated it when they were met with a wheelchair...I don’t know where people think being deaf means you can’t walk.
-
It's sort of like how people think having a physical disability means one is also mentally challenged. It's ridiculous.

I don’t know if this is offensive or down right hilarious. At least they didn’t give you instructions in Braille
-
I have been handed a Braille safety check folder before take off. Most of us in the deaf community read Braille of course
