Parity for Puerto Rico is a life and death matter. It is morally imperative to extend SSI benefits to the Island. Today, SCOTUS is hearing oral arguments. But we can't rely on courts, that's why I'm fighting for my bill to deliver long overdue parity to PR.

Puerto Rico is already an American Commonwealth, unlike other territories, Congress Declared Puerto Ricans American Citizens. In the spirit of that, They wanted eventual Statehood for PR. Long overdue.
