If you have videos that shouldn't be monetizing, but are getting ads, you may want to check your copyright notices page: https://youtube.com/my_videos_copyright …. It's likely that the video is being monetized by a claimant of a copyrighted video. If it’s not the case, let us know.

Content ID claims (Like what you have) don't typically result in strikes or account termination, so there’s no need to delete your video. Here’s more info about how you can remove the claimed content, which will automatically release the claim: https://yt.be/help/tG1B

We can't share more specifics as that could also benefit those not playing by the rules. Thanks for understanding.

So if I sign up for Adsense and put ads in my YouTube videos and agree to the terms and then you just wait until you get 4000 watch hour and 1000 subs?

To be eligible for monetization channels will need 4k watch hours in the past 12 months and 1k subscribers. More info can be found here: https://yt.be/help/PHae . Hope this helps!

Only copyright owners may choose how they want to enforce their rights on a video-by-video basis. You can remove the claimed content from your video w/ editing tools, or if you think the claimed content is incorrect, you have the right to dispute it: https://yt.be/help/LKJN
