Also, you can see from this report that omicron’s doubling time has risen. Discussed here: https://twitter.com/MadsAlbertsen85/status/1470766064539783191 … initial 2-3 day doubling time may have been due to founder effects. also restrictions have been instituted but large transmission advantage still a big concern
