Gallup: 72% of adults wear a mask 'always' or 'very often' when outside of the home. Breakdown by party ID: Democrats 94% Independents 68% Republicans 46% 27% of Republicans say they *never* wear a mask when outside the house. Tribalism in politics is a really dangerous thing.

Agreed, but I really want to see a breakdown of the mask wearing folks to see how many wear them properly. It goes over your nose too! End of rant

An entire political party dedicated to anti-intellectualism is a really dangerous thing.

Do we trust these numbers? I’m... skeptical that it’s even this high. How many people know they should wear a mask, answer yes, but then in practice rarely wear one? Wish I knew the answer.

I can tell you that in the school district my sister teaches in and her husband is the principal at one of the high schools 30% of the parents are refusing to send their kids to the 2 days a week of in-person learning BECAUSE they are AGAINST the mask requirement for the kids.
