The idea floated to explain bad polls in 2016 was that Trump voters were ashamed to admit they were voting for Trump, but that logic doesn’t work to explain this if they’re willing to say they approve of him in other polls. I don’t know what that discrepancy would indicate.

It must be the excuse I keep hearing that people are afraid to tell pollsters that they are going to vote for Trump. I think Fox News calling throws that out the window .
