I mean... I take issue with the "news media" being used this way here. In 1995 it referred to a very specific thing. In 2020 it includes such a huge range of outlets that I couldn't say ALL of them were doing a good job.

This is an underrated tweet. News media ranges the gamut nowadays, so which outlet specifically would be a more accurate indicator.
