Gallup: 60% of Americans say they are better off now than when Trump took office compared to just 36% who say they are not. That is higher than during the reelection campaigns of Obama, W, Clinton, or HW Bush. 60% of independents say they're better off than three years ago.

Gallup: More Americans say it is easier for them to go out and buy things in stores than before Trump took office, 52-36. Again that beats W, Clinton, and HW Bush by a healthy margin (wasn't asked in 2012). Going to be hard for Dems to win with this - esp far left candidates.

I'll bet those numbers were about the same in November 2018 when voters gave Democrats the House, and November 2019 when KY and LA elected Democratic governors and the VA legislature turned blue.

Once again begging the question, why, if things are good and Americans are doing better would any reasonable/logical person WANT to have a Dem beat #potus in the first place? The whole premise is mental "things are good with the current president, so how can we change it?" 🤔

The random years selected do more to question the survey’s intent than the point you’re trying to make. A more valid approach would be same question using after 3 years in office for each of the last 5 presidents.
