I used to think that. But she’s an awful campaigner. He’d beat her like a drum.

This is a view widely shared by conservatives that is arguably untrue ... it’s the candidate you’d pick not the one the country would pick. Said with respect.

I strongly disagree -- I think Warren for example is having a stretch of great press along with Biden stumbling, but her positions are not nearly as in touch with middle America as some others. And while she absolutely can beat Trump, she is far from the most electable.

I agree with this, Amy K is a middle of the road and even likeable person....Warren is the 'new normal' for Dems which is way left.....election will basically come down to PA, MI and WI

Yup And the crazy part -- both in 2016 and now -- is that the liabilities of the front-runners/top tier are totally known and visible. And Ds are really into the idea of beating Trump. Yet it is where it is!

Yeah I figured Bernie would never get above where he started because he's old news from 2016. Warren though has soared on the back of media hype and not stumbling, but the others have just never moved because the base isn't going to help them. That might prove to be a mistake.

If primary electorate = general electorate the Darwinian argument would make more sense. It doesn’t.

I agree. Klobuchar is my choice.

I’ve never voted for a Dem in my whole life but I can stomach Klobuchar.
