It certainly would. I've seen this idea discussed elsewhere (/cc @fluffyemily ) and figuring out sustainable approaches takes a bit of work. It works well at a conference (limited time + lots of focus). Are you interested in being a mentor?

Yes. It probably helps if that person is working in the same domain (medical imaging in my case) or lives somewhat nearby, but I'm sure I can help any beginning Python developer
