I think you focus too much on others, people can like multiple things at once without having to "choose". I'm sure you are a fan of more than one artist yourself! People who post more art do get more attentions but it doesn't mean you don't get any

Stop focusing on others and focus more on you. What if you lost followers? You gained them doing what you loved. Drawing. As an aspiring artist myself, I prefer quality over quantity. Quantity can be obtained easily with money, quality is gained by our own efforts. ^^
