I don’t understand your response. Can you please explain?

Medical and criminal justice authorities from our
@SF_DPH , to our@HouseJudiciary have emphasized that mass incarceration is systematically existentially dangerous in moments of pandemic. The SFFPH has asked chesa to reduce our 1300 person prison population to 600, see above.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

But wasn’t that going to be the approach before COVID?

Matter of degrees, Yes some reduction in incarceration was expected from last years 1350, probably similar to our pre covid 1150. However this level of incarceration is substantially below that. Here is the graph that was guiding our first wave of releases, from the above.pic.twitter.com/Rj6kz6VsJT

So you think it's wise to continue releasing a guy who keeps stealing motorcycles everytime he's released?

I think our
@SF_DPH has called for@chesaboudin to release people of greater societal danger than a motorcycle thief. I do think mass incarceration poses a greater risk to our society in moments of pandemic than auto theft, yes.2 replies 0 retweets 1 like
Mass is relative. Pretty sure most people would agree San Francisco doesn't jail enough. People want more enforcement. People are leaving the city in droves hence why you see rent prices dropping, online sales tax revenue gone, officer space vacancy up like crazy. Keep it up
