its true there are shitty people everywhere but tumblr artists are a special kind of shitty there was a case a few years back where they allmost pushed a SU fan artist to near suicide over a colour choice, it was so bad the makers of SU had to get involved to try and chill it
after tumblr banned porn a lot of the worst people form there migrated to twitter both this and the issue with people getting harassed over the pokemon gym leader seems to be byproducts of behaviour that use to be found more often on tumblr then other sites
Alr I just recently saw this, I get your point, I'm just that one person who finds it iffy when people generalize people, I know some good friends in Tumblr who are very nice so I got my gears in defense mode

When I found out about tumblr, I honestly wasn't aware of the very ugly side it had. I just used it to follow artists I liked on Deviantart because they posted art there more frequently.
