It's a good question -- we do accessibility testing, for example, making sure things like screen readers can identify the new design, which was absolutely done in this case! (Note the current checkmark is also gray).

I think your missing the point YT. A check mark can clearly be seen. A grey box on the name especially to phone users it looks like ur selecting the text to copy the name. If 90% of feed back is don't do that plz then don't do it. Unless u guys are still on "no publicity is bad"
