I took in my Mom's cat when she died and my Dad still brings over little tupperwares of tuna juice to pour on his kibble, because that's what they always did.

When I first bought a can of, I think, bean dip, my cat heard the sound of a can being opened (pull-top) and insisted on his share. He ate freaking bean dip rather than admit he was wrong.
