In all fairness. It's their right to terminate the relationship. But as other people have mentioned here, they're ideally supposed to recommend your next therapist options so you transition safely

It could be that issues you were discussing were triggering for her and she didn’t feel like she could be a good therapist for you

Yes. And it was upsetting. I had a standing appointment with her at a certain time for MONTHS. I show up and she booked another client in that space. From there she just sort of stopped contacting me.

Lucky for me I also have a counseling degree and am stable enough to have additional resources but it upset me because the event could have been so damaging to someone may have really relied on her
