Okay the system is cruel but this statement is very misinformed. They are usually sold to beef operations. Some become free range cattle, most go to beef feed lots or become veal. Baby cows are most certainly not killed. They are sold at auction and are valuable.

Yeah exactly veal. In the UK though more are killed because they are a waste product & much less people buy veal there

Don't know about other countires, but UK cows are only inseminated to actually produce more cattle to be farmed, dairy or beef stock. They are not killed young and the baby milk is not stolen. To make dairy cows produce milk for consumption, they cause phantom pregnancy.
