So it was a fad.

For all who are not in it for the art/community: if you cannot find a greater fool to sell your NFT to, you might be the greater fool.

Absolutely. But the same can be said of cryptocurrencies. I wouldn't sleep on top collections, just as I wouldn't sleep on top cryptos.

Like many crypto plays, you’re looking at 70-95% downside risk and 10-100x upside potential (only for top NFTs).

Lol ur not understanding it. Right now it’s just randomness being sold. But NFTs are sold w utilities. Add ons. For instance, I’m not an artist but I minted a few of my digital art pieces. Not bc the pieces themselves have real value, but bc I’m a growing brand that has value.
-
I can add a free conference call to my pieces, where I offer my insight on pot stocks & the financial climate. I can attach free tickets to events I throw. Or free product. There are so many ways 1can add value to NFTs outside using them simply as memorabilia or art.

I think it’s more to do with their being cultural artefacts.

If you'd like to place a wager that a cryptopunk will be worthless a year from now I will be ecstatic to take the other side of that bet.
