US debt has just hit $26 trillion, up from $23.5 trillion in March, and up $1 trillion in just the past month alone. A yearly deficit of $1 trillion was crisis mode in 2009. Now we did it in a month. We're on a path to $30 trillion in a hurry or close to 150% debt to GDP.
