On a lighter note: Artists, stretching out features or enlarging eyes doesn’t make your hyper real character cartoony. It makes it creepy. Good anim design, IMO is about editing shapes, and having a simple but strong statement. It’s not about piling on details.

These two images are 6-7 years apart. I still have a lot to learn, but you can see I'm backing away from the weird hyper real anatomy (I keep details in the cloth, somehow that works for me). I'm constantly figuring out stuff, and learning from my peers.pic.twitter.com/fmwRDbWLXf
