PBG trying to silence Jared's accusers is totally cool tho, right?

I feel that
@PeanutButterGmr is getting too much hate for this. One of his close friends was accused of something terrible. It's not exactly easy to react properly in that situation. You can't just give up a close friend in two seconds. Not easily at least. -
Yeah he just seems like a really good friend in this situation. His recent tweets even seem to show he’s getting more of a level head.
-
So is he gonna apologize then?
-
I feel like he will. But considering I don't know him personally, it would be rather foolish for me to say yes or no.
-
I think he was saying he didn't like how the situation was handled rather than defend him.
-
I see. In that case I’m sincerely glad he did the right thing

I'm super unimpressed. You sat on this info for a month until you got caught, probably just hoping no one would know. I'm crazy disappointed in the entirety of the
@NormalBoots team. I can't support this. -
"No other members of NormalBoots were made aware of the allegations." We literally didn't know, only Jacque did. He started a private investigation into the allegations.
-
And what, there was suddenly enough evidence to act only after it became public?
-
It's still under investigation, but we had to make a statement now that we all know the allegations.
-
Ah that's the kicker. But if not everyone had found out, how much longer would it have taken? I think that's important to know.
-
It was under investigation. It would have taken as long as the investigation needed. It's not like they could snap their fingers and have gotten a result right away.
-
But WHAT was there to investigate. It was "Hi, here's proof Jared asked for my nudes and I'm a minor and he possessed them". What investigation after?
-
Also, an email containing an allegation isn't proof either, that's worth investigating

This is the worst statement ever. Period. Not as bad as Jared’s, but still bad.pic.twitter.com/GxZ2Mz76Hu
-
Except it's a really good professional statement.
-
But doesn’t realy absolve PBG of the apology he owes.
-
I didn't say it did, did I? And neither did they. I am sure he plans to do one, possibly in a tweet, a video, or something else. He's probably still in shock and coming to terms with the fact that his best friend of 10+ terms wasn't who he thought he was.
-
It’s definitely understandable in that regard. It doesn’t justify what he said, but it’s understandable indeed. He just wasn’t in the right mind and needs to process this
-
It doesn't justify, but it def sheds light on the fact that we're all humans and make mistakes. Some people like to pretend they aren't human and have a higher moral ground. Sigh...
-
It’s those people I take issue with. I don’t think PBG is a monster. Didn’t say he was even a bad person. But part of being human is owning up to and apologizing for our mistakes. A retweet of an official statement that doesn’t address PBG’s behavior last night isn’t that.
-
See that's def valid. I'm sure he will release a statement or apology of some kind. PBG is a genuinely good person who made a mistake. But I'm willing to give him time to come to terms with everything
