Let’s not let Michael Stenger off the hook. The Senate Sergeant-at-Arms has taken his own oath. He is not Sergeant-at-Arms of the Republicans, butthe Senate. He should have rounded up the violators and first forced them back onto the floor, and if they resisted or went out again

Taken the, and put them in a cell in the basement of the Capitol. Shame on him.

At the most... He will just “both sides” it by saying both Dems and GOP need to stay seated. Then go back to thispic.twitter.com/9Wi0QNLSWl

Why do we employ this Sargent-at-Arms if it’s just a powerless figurehead?

@mkraju is reporting that Dems are stepping out, too. I'm not impressed!

The Dems didn't set the rules w/the ridiculously long days, therefore Republicans have no cause for complaint, they set the rules. If Dems stepped out, it was during the presentation of their side of the argument, and info they presumably already had.
