    will participate in an exercise with the military to simulate creating a base of operations on the airport after a major natural disaster has occurred. Military cargo aircraft will land & depart June 23-27. Flight ops and traffic flow will not be impacted.

    Don Kennell & the Santa Fe team of DKLA Design have completed their installation of “Navigator” on the SW corner of Azalea Garden Rd. & Norview Ave. The 24ft. X 44ft. blue heron w/ hand blown glass eyes is created of recycled airplane parts.

    This is a blue heron sculpture that spans over 40 foot wide. It is created from decommissioned airplane parts in a bright blue and white color. It reaches 24 foot high and stands before trees in the background with legs almost touching the ground.
    This is a picture of the construction site with a crane holding the wings of the blue Heron sculpture. The blue hair and head speaking out in the distance. It shows all of the mud installation team had to over come over the weekend.
