the continued policing of the term "queer" combined with lgbt stuff where the "t" is silent and ace people are unwelcome is horseshit too

even the terminology around this is so fraught with heteronormative assumptive bullshit

i'm just SO sick of the cis white male normative narrative that's built around all this shit and the cooption of SJ concepts to support it

i'm especially sick of the "queer is a slur" discourse being performed by people who forget how people use "gay" as a synonym for "bad"

it's completely impossible to sort out any actual points because that entire argument is just people who want to center gayness coopting

and that in combination with so many cis people-- i rarely see trans people doing this-- policing who "counts" at all

and you get stuff like people straight up re-purposing terf arguments for gatekeeping against asexuals
