Haha, that's indeed more tricky. In this particular case, sharing is allowed so again, they don't do anything wrong imo. However, it shows me that I'd have to be very careful on how much of this generated code I can actually use in my project 
But sharing requires that the resulting code be GPL licensed! And Mr. Ronacher was showing that the _wrong license_ was emitted along with the code. This is a very clear license violation, in my opinion.
Yeah I saw this. Hopefully this is an exception and not the rule. If I write an is_odd function and it happens to be the exact same code as another open source project, did I break their license?
Such a function is trivial and cannot be copyrighted.
So I think that's more of a sign to me not to use it as a developer, rather than being concerned that they read my code I shared publicly
