Yay, learning! And indeed, I have some learning to do about why Free Software a la the FSF is a "failed ideology"; Nora, got a quick synopsis of what you mean there, and/or a pointer to one? I know of gripes with FSF (and/or RMS), but nothing that rises to "failed ideology". ?
Basically, I don't think free software is the best way to go about ensuring the protection of the software commons, precisely because of things like Copilot and Amazon cloning FOSS products and selling them. We need something better.
