i like posting my tech Ws because i'm always talking about depressing shit that's usually somewhat related to tech and like... idk, Linux on the desktop is awesome these days

ubuntu is a really good operating system for most people and Pop!_OS adds a lot of super neat stuff on top. idk what else to say, it's just really cool :)

it's a privilege to own a thinkpad and it's a privilege not to need specific proprietary assistive technologies &c. but gods if it isn't lovely to have a computer that doesn't actively hate me

Pop! OS transformed my entire (admittedly novice) perspective on free/libre software. I went from a PC+Mac for music person to 100% Linux overnight. I wish I had switched over so much earlier

take a look at their site [1] and see if it would help you out with your workflow! personally i still run Ubuntu on my desktop (even though it's a System76 desktop! there's a lot of inertia there for me) but it totally transformed my laptop workflow 1: https://pop.system76.com/
