today i upgraded from Pop!_OS 20.10 to 21.04 and it was extremely smooth! i clicked "upgrade", it went into reboot and blanked the screen with a little useful info and a logo, and then about 20 minutes later it was done.

my encrypted mount-on-boot partition is intact and the new Pop!_OS desktop features were presented to me in a slick dialog box. so far, as someone who is forced to use Mac OS on a daily basis and former i3wm aficionado, i love it

the tiling stuff from 20.10 is all still there, with a few extra features that are super easy to use. the launcher is _really_ similar to my old rofi config, and the dock w/ intellihide works a _lot_ better than the MacOS dock
