Look, I'm all for abolishing copyright, but if that's not on the cards we should at least try to make organizations with a lot of power abide by it too.

If training ML on things is fair use does that mean I can train a statistical model to produce a slightly fuzzy version of Snow White from white noise (via overfitting) and not get sued?

(No, it doesn't. Because copyright is a way for powerful people to justify stealing things from people with less power.)
