They'll (co-)maintain LLVM for clang's sake regardless of what happens to Swift. But I can't really see them giving up on Swift -- it's a great language that fits its niche very well, doesn't have a lot of viable competitors besides "stick with ObjC" (harmless: ObjC is immortal).
