Puberty blockers were the compromise trans affirming medicine made with people who said we can't give trans teenagers hormones. But no, the completely reversible drug that gives trans teens the time to consider identity without the effects of the wrong puberty is "too dangerous"

That's apple and oranges. There has to be a path forward where every one can win. To where there detrans people don't happen and that every person or child can get the care they need.
I'm not sure that's possible, but so long as we agree that it shouldn't prevent trans kids from getting the treatment that's available to them now, I think we're on the same track.
