Ok, so it's arbitrarily precise but precision has a cost - What's the order of magnitude energy increase per bit of precision? Relatedly, how complicated is the machine that interacts with it?
I don't know that move energy = more precision - rather, like, an ADC, more precision implies a more complex machine. More _frequency_ would require more energy, though, like with RF. And, I think, pretty dang complex. Otherwise everyone would have one!
I think the most important question here is, is the value changing and if so how fast?
as fast as you (or anyone else) modulates it, i think!
