Yeah, I found that blog mere moments ago. I'm glad you've found a label that describes you but I really, really wish you hadn't decided this mean you get to decide whether or not other people are "actually" trans or not. AGP describes my experiences very poorly, ...

That position makes sense! I have a few thoughts in reply. Firstly, I don't think "decide whether other people are 'actually' trans" is a fair characterization of my (admittedly complicated) beliefs? A theory of how dysphoria arises doesn't entail any particular policy. 1/2

I don't think harm is relevant to scientific theorizing about psychology: we want to figure out what's true, independent of what bad actors could misconstrue to cause harm. (But obviously, "describes my experiences poorly" is very relevant—that suggests the theory is false!) 2/2
