colemak makes a *lot* of things harder, but i didn't expect photoshop to be one of them. it turns out that photoshop's keyboard shortcuts are placed to optimize for left hand on keyboard, right hand on mouse. (that's why "move" is v and not m, for example)

so when you use another keyboard layout, photoshop gets a *lot* less *physically* ergonomic to use.

contrast with the foss competitor to photoshop, which is named after an ableist slur; nobody thought about ergonomics, so its shortcuts are based on a naive mnemonic system they're *never* comfortable to use, *and* they don't respect your muscle memory if you're trying to switch
