So sure, homicides are "up 800%" if you only look at Q1 data Totally ignores that: the Q1 rate didn't hold for the rest of 2020 homicides in Portland have been increasing annually every year since 2014, yet the city is still quite safe for its size @SunshineAndFear

Homicide numbers in most sizeable American cities have been increasing, regardless of the politics of their residents or the reforms, or lack thereof, applied to their police, if I'm not mistaken.
