Where are you getting this menu that has "Install to Applications..." as an option?
If you follow the 3 tweets in that thread, it gives instructions. If you follow them, the "Install to Applications..." will be in the menu that shows when you click the 3 vertical dots (top right of Chrome window)https://twitter.com/NolanOBrien/status/974781203399110656 …
Under "Nolan" in this screen shot is the 3 dotspic.twitter.com/gHSVJWGRLt
Thanks, I'm not sued to Chrome so I didn't recognize the three dot menu.
What's the difference between this and the "Add to Desktop" feature that already existed on platforms other than MacOS? I've been using standalone Chrome windows for things like Messenger .com for years now.
Being on macOS only for 7 years now, I honestly don't know. Maybe it's the same!
That is very nice, thanks for sharing. I just wish Twitter mobile web interface support multiple Twitter accounts. Without that, I have to switch to a third party client :-(
Same. Shame that it's so close to perfect...
True, it’s not at parity with our mobile apps. But as https://mobile.twitter.com improves, so will the installed PWA
Hehe.. I know. I read your previous version of that comment. I understand, and applaud, your goals. It's just a shame that they don't/can't align with how many of us used the native app.
Alignment is likely more congruent than you might think, but motives are transparent- you should continue to judge by our actions and results
Wow! That's an impressive example of Redux and React Router, for a page that appears to just have a text box.
Not mocking, actually think it's awesome.

@CharlieCroom will be glad to hear it :)
Whoa, the mobile site is so much better than the desktop site *at desktop sizes*. If only the Chrome PWA hack would let you create different versions with different cookie stores...
Too bad it doesn’t support multiple accounts
True... it's not parity with our mobile apps. But as https://mobile.twitter.com improves, this Desktop PWA will automatically improve too.
Yep. I love PWA
