Loved him in Murder by Contract, excited for another Vince Edwards noir feature.

Edwards was also quite unpleasant in "The Night Holds Terror" with John Cassavetes...

She doesn’t serve the cheesecake like Lana does in Postman (chalk white crop-top combo), but in Hit-&-Run (57), Cleo Moore than matches Turner’s erotica with an adorability Marilyn could’ve admired and, in certain angles, a face as stunning as Hedy Lamarr #noiralley #filmnoir

Definitely the prototype for someone like Anna Nicole-Smith - voluptuous and gorgeous. Muller had it right in his comments though, there were stretches in that movie she seemed less than engaged in the role...😄
"Illicit lovers arrange a fatal accident"---but they didn't. Moore's character, unlike Cora in "Postman," resisted the advances of the Triangle Guy (Edwards, in this case) from the beginning. She wasn't his lover; she didn't plan hubby's death.

It's an oddity of #HitAndRun --the Femme Fatale isn't Fatale at all. She's not unchaste, not conniving, not murderous.
Possibly this was Haas' attempt to show respect for his longtime star Moore...?
