I remember as a kid in Chicago the news broke she died in a fire in Chicago area. I had no idea then who she was but now of course I do.

Linda Darnell was so beautiful...I first became aware off her as a young girl when I saw Forever Amber on TV.. She was mesmerizing and I became a long time fan..It will be a treat to see her in action again...Toast, coffee and Noir ?Sunday=Perfect!

Linda Darnell is absolutely the straw that stirs this drink. You are absolutely drawn to her rebellious character's dynamic personality. Faye is reduced a wall paper presence representing the dutiful, moral female symbol.
