Vague dream recollections of returning to Neuroscience. Would probably have much better chances despite rapidly declining quantitative skills and lack of network. Might try one more round of Philosophy and Religious Studies. Still floating between monasteries, farms, hermitages.

A choice between resurrecting the past or redefining the future. IMO what comes to us from past masters is little more the crumbs which survived the rats, bureaucrats and the predisposition to put your own stamp on someones else's work.

It is my belief that a more comprehensive understanding of humanity is contained in the fragments and various elaborations of doctrine. The issue for me is that the material is not presented as complete whole. I include in this all world traditions believing that a synthesis

The 4th Turning of the Wheel unifies Dharmas, Psych and Neuro too. Institutional forms that be are too constrained for this. We can grow this scene.
