how many families with distinctive cultures are there that stretch back several generations? EG my family has been involved with trees and plants since my great grandfather who was a forester in mid 19 c. It would be great to get an inventory of all the families.

Farming here. Our generational farm in Norway is my surname. My dad grew up as a farmer in the rural Midwest. While a city kid myself, we had award-winning gardens. I tended the tomatoes. Continuing the legacy at contemplatively oriented farms and now a hermit homestead.
