Yeah! Never heard of the term psychocosmogony until now. Seems to feature mostly in ancient Greek and Vedic literature. Hiraṇyagarbha, maṇḍala functioning as psychocosmogram, etc. I'm particularly keen to dive into the psychocosmogonic implications of Indra's net (indrajāla).

Peter Gregory (1991) in Tsung-mi and the Sinification of Buddhism. "Tsung-mi" (Zongmi, 宗密) was a syncretist who amalgamated Buddhism (Huayan and Chan with obvious Yogācāra influence), Daoism, and Confucianism in Tang dynasty China's melting pot of contemplative traditions.
