Actually this reminds me: Ever since I was little, I would find myself fascinated and obsessed by what I saw with my eyes closed, and made it a game or exercise to attend to the noisy patterns. I think we caused kaleidoscope like patterns by rubbing our eyes and then letting go and focusing.

Aye, that's one method. I was more of the minimal intervention, but regardlessly it shares the same processes of how the patterns transform. Fascinating!

This is very nice to see! I have this too, although they are black with a yellow light rather than full on colour...I always thought this was what everyone had? I just close my eyes and there is a world of kaleidoscopic serenity...I can speed it up and slow it down
