Looking back to last year's grad apps, realizing that describing retreat experiences probably freaked out the philosophy admissions committees and may have led to less-than-ideal offers. Wondering if religious studies may be more sympathetic? Possibly, but still safer to edit...

Mr.
#DavidKalupahana made a great explanation of the anti-metaphysic and non-nihilustic (svātantrika) core of the Kārikā. Me personally — I didn't meet better translation and more practical explanation!!! RIPThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Without SKIN IN THE GAME there's no difference between Madhyamaka Svātantrika or Prasangika, Cittamatra, Apoha-vāda etc. Without practice we can't pay the price (like the Elders in Thera-gāthā Therī-gāthā 'payd') to discern vitarka, vicāra, pramāna etc. via one of the above vāda.

I mean the concept for "skin in the game" of
#WarrenBuffett and of@nntaleb in his recent book#SIKG _- ' -_ The Kārikā and the T. Gāthās are#SITG and not a club for#IYI analysing the 'philosophy' (of Brahmajala-sutta or of Kālāma-sutta
)
