In other words, for the ājīvikan, there are no causes/conditions for defilement/purification, as these are predetermined. If it's guaranteed, why must one actively pursue liberation? Almost seems to enter Zhuangzian (wu-wei) territory. Hence the beef with Sid and 'Vira. 2/2
