I am shocked to learn of this recent attack against the Islamic Center of SF. Attacks on our Muslim community and any religious community are unacceptable. Hate has no place in San Francisco. Hate has no place in CA. Hate has no place anywhere.https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/Vandal-damages-S-F-s-oldest-mosque-prompting-16619484.php …

I'm not shocked by this whatsoever. Our city has set the tone that expressing hate is okay, so long as it's directed at certain groups of people.

What is this nonsense? A beer bottle and a single broken building window gets the attention and outrage of every SF politician?? We have robbers using power tools to break into residents actual homes on a daily basis without a peep.. What gives?

I thought the same thing. We have no idea if it was a hate crime or someone having a psychotic break. We have thousands of windows being shattered all over town, weekly.

Anything that has a slight relation to race/gender/sexuality they go nuclear on their soapboxes. Without that, they don’t care. It’s all for political leverage and to keep the outrage on each other, not them.
