1/Taking down Confederate statues is nice, but what's more important is changing the way we educate young Americans about the Civil War.

3/The U.S. didn't go to war to end slavery (at first), but the South went to war to preserve it. This is plain fact. Teach it.

4/Also, no teaching kids about how slaves actually good lives under slavery. Two teachers of mine spouted that B.S. No more of that.
