PSID is unreliable (small sample, does not capture the top). Best study is https://eml.berkeley.edu/~saez/kopczuk-saez-songQJE10mobility.pdf … and it shows mobility is small and has not increased over time

Will check it out. BTW, never said anything about mobility rising or falling. And the Auten, Turner, Gee results as well as the Splinter results use tax data not the PSID.
