What is the share of immigrants (undocumented/documented) from each education category?
-
Great question. Here are Pew's estimates. Since most undocumented immigrants are uneducated, the collapse in illegal immigration is the biggest reason for the big drop in the share of uneducated immigrants coming in.pic.twitter.com/HEMlRBoK8l

You're cute with your facts. In 2012 my Republican mom listed Sharia law as her #1 concern going into the election. Sharia law. No fact can penetrate that kind of irrational fear.

The chart is for immigrants entering the US over the age of 25. Most of the members of the "caravan" look to be under 25. Any charts that account for all immigrants, not just those over 25 (where taxpayers don't pay the cost of education)?
-
This includes the expected expense of paying for the kids of these immigrants (since it's a 75-year projection).
-
Not saying you're wrong, but projecting out 75 years later is no longer about immigrants really. Further, I don't trust any projections going out 75 years but that's just me.
-
Also, the kids of these 25 year and older immigrants are not immigrants themselves but citizens so all this chart is telling you is the next two generations ought to be a net contributor. It does not tell you anything about the effect of kids or teens immigrating now.

This is good to know but on another level irrelevant. Children have a net negative fiscal impact. Also many retired people.
-
No, children have a positive impact. And if the country has already raised and educated them then why the hell would you send them back just because they came here as infants? Hella stupid.
